A third-generation, family-owned company, rohi was founded in 1933 as a supplier of textiles to the furniture industry by Mrs Marga Hielle-Vatter, a leading German designer, and her husband Mr Rolf Hielle. Since the early 1970s, rohi’s core business has been the development and manufacture of aircraft textiles – the company was one of the first textile manufacturers in the world to be approved by Airbus and Boeing.
