From Mai 18th to July 31st the Bard Graduate Center in New York shows a part of modern interior designs history. Fabrics, furnitures, photographs and sketches describe the significant role of textiles in interior decoration.
In the exhibition "Knoll Textiles, 1945 - 2010" even sketches of Marga Hielle-Vatter can be seen. Together with her husband Rolf Hielle she founded rohi in 1933 and died in 1997 at the age of
84 years.
In the exhibition the multiple decorated "grand dame of textile design", amongst others receiving the silver medal at
the Milan triennale in 1957, is represented with several textile creations.
