Basel Music Academy

Project: Renovation of the Grand Hall at the Basel Music Academy
Architect: Thomas Osolin

Sophisticated concert hall restoration: Restored to fresh glory, and adorned with exquisite rohi wool fabrics, the Basel Music Academy reopens punctually to celebrate its 150th anniversary. Originally built in 1905, this architectural gem was refurbished under the direction of architect Thomas Osolin in conjunction with the cantonal heritage agency, and adapted to reflect its different uses today.

The highest quality and perfect acoustics: Styled in CREDO prune whose sophisticated tone refines the interior into an aesthetic whole. Thanks to the rohi wool fabrics, the result is not just a feast for the eyes, but an immersive listening experience of the finest quality.
