Munich Olympic Hall

There were two challenges for us when designing new seating for Munich’s Olympic Hall. First, we had to take the requirements of architects Behnisch und Partner into consideration. Design protection and compliance with the stipulations of the Office for Protection of Historic Buildings were essential. The interests of Munich’s Municipal Utility Company (SWM) were represented by the refurbishing architecture firm, Auer und Weber. Second, our fabrics had to withstand fire safety testing performed to strictest requirements for events by Stuttgart University of Applied Science such as Molotov cocktails and Bengal lights.
