We have some news we’d like to share with you. As of 1 August 2026, rohi has a new shareholder. All shares have been transferred to the Tesca Group – a leading international manufacturer of textiles, materials and seating components for the mobility sector, and who, like us, has grown out of a weaving mill.
For us, it was crucial to find a partner who understands what quality, craftsmanship and a brand identity forged over generations mean – and who, at the same time, possesses the industrial strength, an international network and the financial power to secure and build on rohi’s success in the long term. With the Tesca Group, a family business with its roots in the textile industry, we have found exactly the right partner. What unites us is a shared passion for textiles: the joy of creating high-quality, durable and beautifully designed fabrics.
What will remain: everything that rohi stands for
rohi will remain rohi. Our brand, our manufacturing facility, our management and our team as well as our location in Geretsried, Upper Bavaria, will remain the same. And ‘Made in Germany’ will remain our bedrock – here on the banks of the Isar, we will continue to create what makes rohi special: the finest virgin wool, crafted with an instinctive feel for texture and comfort, which we bring to living spaces, hotels, restaurants and theatres – as well as aircraft cabins.
The things you value about rohi will remain the same: the same faces, the same quality, the same distinctive style.
What’s being added: room to grow
With the Tesca Group behind us, we are gaining new opportunities – access to innovative technologies and materials, such as in knitting technology, greater security of supply through an international network, and the support to develop our ideas further. We will remain true to our distinctive style whilst continuing to develop it through new opportunities.
