SIX SENSES ROME

Italian premiere: The renowned hotel brand Six Senses opened its first Italian property in the heart of Rome in 2023. The modern luxury hotel is located in an historic palace, the 18^th century Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini.

Modernity meets classicism: Designer Patricia Urquiola, entrusted with the interior concept, has infused the historic venue with her distinctive contemporary flair. A harmonious connection with nature permeates all spaces, through the use of traditional Cocciopesto plastering and Travertine limestone, balanced graphic design elements, plants and natural light.

Sustainable design: The hotel brand’s philosophy focuses on well-being, a sense of conviviality, and a strong commitment to sustainable design. For all guest rooms and suites, Urquiola selected rohi´s CENTO as main upholstery fabric, made of 100 % pure virgin wool. The refined bouclé character, combined with a depth of texture, gives CENTO an unparalleled warmth and elegant aesthetics.
