The seven-year project term was worth it in the end. The Staatsoper Unter den Linden opera house has been restored to its former glory. Historic conservation and acoustics were the two biggest challenges that rohi, in conjunction with architect HG Merz, overcame with aplomb in producing its unique woollen fabric. 1,620 metres of the finest rohi woollen fabric now ensure optimum seating comfort, authentic opera house atmosphere and perfect acoustics on any visit to the Staatsoper.
