A walk outside in nature has long been recognised as an antidote to help overcome a mental block. It’s a great way to achieve ‘flow’ – a state of mind obtained when one is completely absorbed ‘in the moment’ and therefore free from distraction, resulting in improved problem solving, higher levels of creativity and a more positive outlook.
Aviation professionals in search of similar enlightenment found the latest design study from rohi and ANKER, two leading manufacturers in premium aircraft textiles, at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, 6 – 8 June, 2023. rohi and ANKER once again came together to create a stunning, original range of seat fabrics and carpets, inspired by the idea of ‘being in the moment’. These creative studies showcase both their passion for textile design and their capabilities to interpret customer briefs.
When do we experience flow? The new range for 2023 features four key components: SPORTS, COMMUNITY, MINDFULNESS, and CREATIVITY, which all serve as examples of the various situations in which the ‘flow-state’ can be obtained, a very personal and positive experience.
