With its latest creation rohi demonstrates that sustainability can be at once modern, sophisticated and tactile: CENTO – a fabric made entirely of pure virgin wool. Named after the Italian word for “one hundred”, CENTO combines a first-ever pure wool fabric with rohi’s well-known first-class quality.
As a mono-product, CENTO translates the tactile virtues of nature into a pure fabric experience. The fabric’s refined bouclé character gives the pattern an organic look and a textured touch. The irregular structure of this special woven fabric creates a vibrant feel. CENTO’s 23 shades range from subtle tones to bold, contrasting colours in either two- or three-tone yarn structures.
CENTO is the result of a joint development by rohi and Vitra. The two companies have brought together their know-how and created a fabric that fulfils a wide range of requirements and utilizes resources more ecologically.
